RESILIENCE NAMES NEW SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES AND NEW CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Additions to Senior Team to Focus on Sales Acceleration and Optimizing Global Logistics Operations
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., May 22, 2007 - Resilience Corporation, provider of the world's only data security solutions with the DeepAUTOMATION and Real Availability demanded by busy IT departments for mission critical applications, announced today the appointments of Steve Yount to Senior Vice President of Sales and Johannes Hoech to Chief Operating and Marketing Officer. Mr. Yount and Mr. Hoech join new Chief Executive Officer Paul White, who joined Resilience in November of 2006, to form a strong new leadership team for Resilience Corporation with a well defined vision for the company and a new set of strategic objectives for the balance of 2007.
With more than 20 years of experience in sales leadership, business development, and marketing at companies like IBM, Uccel, legent, Nureon Data and Symix, Steve Yount 's hands-on approach has yielded consistently strong sales results with the additional benefit of an increase in customer satisfaction. "Resilience has over 500 customers" said Mr. Yount "and I look forward to better serving them while we focus on expanding Resilience's business with great new products and consistently strong support for our customers." Mr. Yount earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business from the University of Illinois in 1977.
Johannes Hoech brings to Resilience a broad background in Operations, Product Management and Marketing with deep functional and technology industry expertise, as well as a track record of conceiving and executing to plan on new strategies. Mr. Hoech is also known for his strong ability to motivate and lead teams effectively and efficiently. Mr. Hoech has 20 years of industry experience at companies including McKinsey & Company, Quantum, Connor, Sony/Etak, Bechtel, and others. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and Masters in Engineering from University of California, Berkeley, as well as a Masters in Business Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management.
